Cooling tower sound barriers go by different names in different regions, such as cooling tower soundproof walls and cooling tower noise-reduction screens.
Common specifications for cooling tower sound barriers:
Screen panel dimensions: 500 × 2,000 mm; constructed from 1.2-mm-thick galvanized steel sheet with a thickness of 100 mm and an angled top. The cooling tower sound barrier uprights are made of 125H-section steel, 5.5 m in height, with a hot-dip galvanizing plus powder-coating finish. To ensure structural stability, diagonal bracing is provided.
